Travis Barker & Kid Ink |
Monday night, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and rapper Kid Ink collaborated for a
high-powered set at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas in celebration of the 15th
anniversary of Barker’s clothing line, Famous Stars and Straps.
The
world famous drummer was joined for the celebratory performance by
up-and-coming rapper Kid Ink, who last month earned his first gold plaque from
the Recording Industry Association of America for his smash hit single, “Show
Me” featuring Chris Brown. Barker founded his punk/hip hop-influenced lifestyle
brand Famous Stars and Straps in 1999, and February 2014’s MAGIC MARKET WEEK in
Las Vegas marked 15 years of success for the clothing line. Kid Ink hyped up
his set with Barker before the anniversary party, tweeting to his fans, “#Vegas
Tomorrow Night! Me + @TravisBarker Live! #Agenda #Famous #Alumni

Barker
and Kid Ink were joined on the red carpet by fellow musicians Paul Wall and DJ
Eric D-Lux, where they posed for photos in front of dozens of excited fans. In
honor of Famous Stars and Straps’ milestone, the stars donned branded apparel,
with Barker sporting a special anniversary T-shirt that read, “Est. 99 – XV
Years.”
After
walking the red carpet, the entourage made their way into the packed nightclub
to join brand executives at a plush VIP booth overlooking the dance floor
before the performance. The crowd went wild when the superstar ensemble took
the stage and the emcee announced, “Las Vegas, we got Paul Wall in the
building, we got Kid Ink in the building and we got Travis Barker in the
building!”
With
Barker on the drums and DJ Eric D-Lux manning the turntables, Kid Ink belted
out hit songs including “Time Of Your Life,” “Main Chick” and “Show Me.” Paul
Wall also joined the set for a live collaborative performance of his own new
song “Gettin Tho’d” which features Kid Ink.
After
rocking the nightclub with a dynamic set, Barker joined his Famous Stars and
Straps brand partners at his VIP table to toast to 15 years of success. To mark
the occasion, Hyde’s staff surprised the crew with bottles of champagne and an
elaborately-decorated themed cake.
The
group celebrated into the early morning hours while Hyde’s Tuesday night Lost
Angels Industry Night kept the party going all night long.
