Daughtry Played Sweet Music For Valentine's Day At The Cosmopolitan

Daughtry with special guest Beware of Darkness rocked the Mophie Stage inside The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Alternative rock band Beware of Darkness warmed up the crowd with hits from its debut album Orthodox. Following, multi-platinum recording artist Daughtry kicked off its performance with “Baptized” before launching into an energetic set featuring popular hits “Waiting for Superman,” “Feels Like Tonight” and “Battleships.” Fronted by Chris Daughtry, a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol, the band kept the crowd jumping with covers of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight,” Prince’s “Purple Rain” and  Imagine Dragon’s “Radioactive.” The lively performance ended on a sweet note as Daughtry brought two fans on stage right before the encore for a special Valentine’s Day proposal.

Inspired by some of the world’s most iconic venues, The Chelsea is a 40,000 square-foot transformable space featuring remnant brick tiling, an eclectic collection of stage production props, a vintage lobby bar, private VIP opera boxes and a memorable grand staircase complete with a dramatic chandelier.  Upcoming shows performing on the Mophie Stage inside The Chelsea Bruno Mars (Feb. 15 – 16, May 23 – 24, Aug. 22 – 23); Fitz & The Tantrums and Capital Cities (Feb. 18); Empire of the Sun (April 9); Lana Del Rey (April 11); Eric Church (April 26); and Childish Gambino (May 2).
