Tomahawk For Two

The iconic N9NE Steakhouse at Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas’ premier celebrity dining hot-spot, has reopened following a chic makeover. Since the remodel, N9NE has attracted numerous celebrities to experience the steakhouse’s alluring vibe and top-notch cuisine including Matthew Perry, Robin Thicke, Paula Patton, Brody Jenner, Holly Madison, Floyd Mayweather and Pharrell Williams. As part of the $50 million renovation at Palms, N9NE’s remodel features stylish new décor, elegant draperies, sleek private dining areas and the introduction of the Center Table, a semi-private dining experience with prime location in the heart of the restaurant. The revamped venue also offers guests a selection of new menu additions created by Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake which complement N9NE’s signature dishes that have made the steakhouse famous.

“We are delighted to introduce a creative new menu and serve our guests in a stylish and vibrant space with an unmatched scene,” said Dakake, who has been leading the kitchen since opening in 2001. “Over the years, N9NE has become known for outstanding quality and service. With our recent additions, we intend to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our guests.”

Sexy and modern, N9NE Steakhouse is adorned with exquisite fabrics, delicate draperies and soft lighting in a bustling, high-energy environment. Known to be frequented by A-list celebrities, the restaurant’s unforgettable style and lively atmosphere make N9NE the perfect location to kick off the party before a night out in Sin City. Guests celebrating special occasions can retreat to the Center Table, a beautiful space, enclosed by a sheer canopy of drapes and accented by an ornate custom-made chandelier hanging at the pinnacle of the room. N9NE also sports a reconfigured lounge with elevated high-top seating for a dazzling view of the dynamic steakhouse.

As N9NE continues to set the trend for steakhouse experiences in Las Vegas, the restaurant has added new items to the menu created by Chef Barry S. Dakake. Developed with the freshest ingredients and prepared to perfection, each new dish captures N9NE’s traditional flavor and culinary style while adding a new element of creativity to the menu. Additions include decadent entrees like the braised Kobe Beef Short Rib with horseradish crust and curried root vegetables or the 48oz. prime rib eye Tomahawk steak for two, grilled and pepper crusted with roasted bone marrow, seasonal vegetables, baby Dutch potatoes and a red wine sauce. Seafood lovers can enjoy the 3 pound succulent Lobster Thermidor, boasting whole Maine lobster meat sautéed then placed back in the shell where it is topped with gruyere cheese sauce and toasted garlic bread crumbs and finished with shallots, white wine and fresh herbs.

N9NE also introduces new dessert and beverage selections including hand-crafted barrel-aged cocktails. Created by N9NE mixologists, signature cocktails include whiskey based libations like the Rock & Rye made with Hochstetler’s Slow & Low, served over an ice sphere in a sherry rinsed whiskey glass, or the Fig Infused Manhattan, a flavorful adaptation of the classic made with Wild Turkey rye, Cinzano vermouth, black walnut bitters and fresh figs. Guests can top off a delicious meal with N9NE’s dessert menu featuring whimsical treats like the Some More S'mores, a fun twist on Chef Barry’s famous s’mores featuring homemade strawberry, orange Grand Marnier and amaretto hazelnut flavored marshmallows with white and dark chocolate ganache-covered graham crackers served hibachi style over an open flame.

For guests interested in the classics that have made N9NE a “must-try,” the restaurant has added a “Best of N9NE” section to the menu highlighting some of the famed steakhouse’s most popular dishes, including the heralded “Barry’s Steak,” a 10oz. grilled prime rib cap served with roasted cipollini onions, shishito peppers and red wine sauce.

In addition to the full menu, N9NE offers a three-course prix fixe menu nightly from 5:30 – 7 p.m. featuring select appetizers, entrees and dessert alongside two wine pairings for $59 per person.
