Ferraro’s
Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites sports fans to cheer on Team U.S.A during
the XXII Winter Olympic Games with a patriotic red, white and blue cocktail.
The “Spirit of America” libation is a layered concoction featuring grenadine
(red); lemon vodka, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup (white); and Blue
CuraƧao (blue).
The
Spirit of America cocktail is regularly priced at $14; from 4 to 7 p.m. during
Ora Sociale (Happy Hour) and 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Mezzanotte (late-night dining),
it will be available for 25 percent off.
In
addition to enjoying the patriotic drink, guests can watch their favorite
Olympic competitions on the lounge’s five television screens, including one
oversized 14-by-10-foot jumbo screen. Hungry spectators will also be able to
indulge in Ferraro’s Ora Sociale menu in the bar and lounge any time of day from
Feb. 8 – 23. This tempting menu comprises small bites such as mozzarella
Caprese (fresh mozzarella, beefsteak tomatoes), carpaccio di manzo (beef
carpaccio), gnocchi fritti (house-made gnocchi, fried), pizza bianca
(prosciutto, arugula, shaved parmigiano), agnolotti (house-made ravioli filled
with spinach, mascarpone, ricotta, mortadella and topped with a tear-drop
tomato sauce) and much more. Each item on this menu is priced from $4 and $9
and is normally only available 4 to 7 p.m. daily.
“We’ll
be cheering on the athletes from Team U.S.A. all day, every day during the
Winter Olympics,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “Our lounge is a
fantastic place to watch sporting events and enjoy great food and drink, too.
Join us!”
