5th Annual Feed and Clothe the Hungry brought to you by BAM BAM and BIG E
Sunday December 8, 2013
On
December 8th, 2013 from 9:30am until 2pm, they will gather on the NE corner of
Owens and Las Vegas Blvd. to feed and clothe the hungry. They will be prepared to
feed and clothe over 700 people. They are asking for you, the Community, to get
involved. The goal is to treat people to fresh made to order food and a little
bit of fresh clothing.
What
can you do you ask? You can show up on December 8th and help pass out food and
clothing. They are also seeking cash donations-they are looking to raise $2000.00
The good news is, they already have $300 leftover from last year! ALL cash
donations go directly towards food, any extras go to brand new socks. ALSO need clothing donations! Need jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, shoes, clean
brand new sox, tents and tarps. Please note they only want CLEAN WASHED ITEMS,
this is very important. The goal is to bring a smile to these people, not give
them dirty clothes.
This
is a very rewarding experience, last year they fed and clothed over 700 people as
well as donated 20 bags of clothes to local charities!
