Rockhouse,
located inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian | The Palazzo, will
transform into Rockhouse Rodeo from Thursday, Dec. 5, through Saturday, Dec.
14, as the official headquarters of the 2013 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
Throughout the competition, rodeo fans can stop by the buck-wild hot spot for
charitable events, drink specials and nightly bull riding competitions.
The
ultra-dive bar will host Cowgirls and Cocktails on Monday, Dec. 9, with $1
specialty cocktails available for rodeo-loving ladies. All proceeds from $5
bull rides on Rockhouse’s mechanical bull will go to hospitality veteran, Tracy
D.
After
a day of rodeo fun, guests will satiate their appetites with all-day Taco
Tuesday specials on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Taco prices will start at $1.50,
complemented by $5 tequila shots and $7 signature margaritas. Revelers can also
join in on Tournament Tuesday beer pong at Rockhouse for the chance to win $500
cash. Tournament entry and open bar access will be available at 10 p.m.
Starting
at 10 p.m., partiers can perfect their country twang during Country Karaoke on
Wednesday, Dec. 11, while noshing on Wiener Circle Wednesday specials, with
prices starting at $3. All proceeds from $5 bull rides will be donated to
Horses for Heroes, an equestrian service organization that provides affordable
recreational, instructional and wellness programs for active military members,
veterans and first responders.
Bull-riding
partygoers will have the opportunity to dub Rockhouse’s mechanical bull during
Name the Bull on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 11:30 p.m. Participants can vote online
at www.therockhousebar.com or cast their votes by redeeming vouchers for a
complimentary 12-ounce well cocktail or domestic draft with the purchase of any
regular priced drink. Vouchers will also be available from participating Grand
Canal Shoppes venues such as Herve Leger, BGBG Maxazria, Dior Beauty, Ralph
Lauren, Victoria's Secret and many more.
For
the duration of NFR, Rockhouse will host nightly bull riding competitions at 10
p.m. with the chance to win $500 in cash and prizes each night. Former
“American Idol” contestant Morgan Leigh will host bull riding Saturday, Dec. 7
– Monday, Dec. 9; NFR rodeo clown Robbie Hodges will host Tuesday, Dec. 10 –
Saturday, Dec. 14; and top NFR rider L.J. Jenkins will co-host and hold two
meet-and-greets on Wednesday, Dec. 11, and Thursday, Dec. 12. Every night that
proceeds are not designated for another charitable cause, Rockhouse will donate
$1 of every $5 mechanical bull ride to Horses for Heroes.
Additionally,
guests can visit the Rockhouse booth at The Stetson Country Christmas Western
Gift Expo at the Sands Expo Convention Center from Thursday, Dec. 5, through
Sunday, Dec. 15.
Rockhouse’s
nightly NFR drink specials will include $5 Coors bottles, $7 Heineken bottles,
$19 Coors buckets and $22 Heineken buckets. All buckets include five bottles of
selected beer.

Rockhouse,
