As
the leaves fall and the temperature drops, colorist to the stars and Las Vegas’
leading salon owner, Michael Boychuck, has predicted that darker colors, new
hairstyles and natural tones will warm up the holiday season.
Boychuck
believes women with lighter hair tones will be in-style with warm, brown
shades, offering lots of shiny dimensions. The hair extraordinaire predicts
that women with naturally dark hair can transition into the holiday season with
soft, black tones, creating a balanced look.
“The
fall season was laid-back with deconstructed buns and warmer mahogany tones,”
Boychuck said. “For the holiday season,
many of my clients like to go darker with their hair color. As we transition
into the time of year filled with holiday parties, we will see more up-dos and
polished hairstyles for the winter time.”
Las
Vegas’ “mane man” and owner of COLOR
Salon at Caesars Palace and partner of LifeSpa + Salon at Life Time Fitness in
Summerlin says the winter season is filled with opportunities to showcase a
variety of hairstyles, whether it be for an everyday look or a night of holiday
festivities. The hair guru explains the tousled French twist up-do is great to
show off facial features as well as to create a timeless look. To finish the
look, thin eyeliner and semi-stained lips will complement the outfit and
hairstyle. Add a little flare to the holiday look with an ombré nail design.
The new nail trend is sure to grab everyone’s attention and will complete the
look.
Boychuck
also stresses the importance of keeping hair healthy and conditioned during the
dry winter months, and recommends Kérastase conditioning treatments, which can
be found at either of his two salons. A deep-conditioning treatment infuses
much needed moisture and leaves users with soft and shiny locks.
