The Poppy Den At Tivoli Village Brings You Specials & Live Music

The Den, located on the second level of Poppy Den Asian Bistro by Chef Angelo Sosa inside Tivoli Village, is now offering locals a new social scene with craft cocktails and DJ Steve and DJ Tatiana spinning an eclectic party mix and from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night. Sosa has also created a late-night menu that includes ramen and dim sum selections.

With an elevator displaying photos of Asian starlets illuminated with red lights, the trip to 1920s Hong Kong begins with the arrival at The Den. The upstairs indoor-outdoor lounge is adorned with red accents and swanky décor, along with vintage Asian black and white films projected onto the wall along the stairway. As guests walk past the granite-topped L-shaped bar, they transition to the outdoor patio, complete with plush, intimate seating and heaters. Inside and outside, The Den offers a hip, enchanting ambiance.

Grammy-nominated DJ Steve accompanies his signature mixes with rhythmic electronic percussion featuring fiery drum solos. DJ Tatiana, whose appearances include the Electric Daisy Carnival, brings her Cuban roots to the decks as she adds soul to her sets.

Guests will relish in hand-crafted cocktails, priced at $10 each. The cocktail list includes: the Singapore Swing made with gin, cherry, pineapple and grenadine; the Scorpion made with dark and light rums, orange, lime and almond; the Absinthe Dream made with dark rum, absinthe, grenadine and lime; and the Desert Rose made with sake elderflower, passion fruit and jasmine. Bottle service is also available with selections including vodka, gin, bourbon, tequila, whiskey and rum ranging from $105 to $150 per bottle for up to four people.

The bar downstairs at Poppy Den, Sosa’s neighborhood Asian bistro, will serve ramen, dim sum and chicken wings, among other selections. Available from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., the menu is priced ranging from $7 to $10.
