Commonwealth and Cochon 555, a national
culinary competition promoting heritage breed pigs, will join forces for
All-Star Cochon, a late night Asian feast on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 5 p.m. The
non-competitive pork tasting will celebrate the end of the Cochon 555 fifth
anniversary tour.
Featuring
Chinese, Szechuan, Korean, Thai and Japanese fare, guests will devour the
flavorful menu created by ten select chefs and butchers from across the country
at the Downtown venue. Pork enthusiasts will also be treated to a head-to-head
butcher demonstration.
Priced
at $100 per person, general admittance is available at 6 p.m. which includes
food tastings, Silver Oak Cellars and Labor Wines, beer, Fernet Branca
cocktails, ciders and the “Perfect Manhattan” Bourbon Bar featuring Eagle Rare,
Buffalo Trace, Hirsch, Four Roses, Breckenridge Bourbon and Luxardo cherries.
