Friday,
Sept. 20, hip-hop icons Method Man and Redman took over the Rooftop of Chateau
Nightclub & Gardens and put on a memorable performance for their fans.
Arriving to the Strip-side nightspot around 1 a.m. the legendary duo made their
way through the sold-out crowd and settled into their VIP booth located next to
the DJ booth. Joined by a group of their friends, the rappers became center of
attention as partygoers shouted their names and flocked to their table to get a
closer look.
Preparing
for their performance, the twosome took the time to mingle with fans as they
posed for pictures. Just before 1:30 a.m. a spotlight lit up the VIP booth, the
music was turned down and Method Man and Redman jumped atop the booths to
address their fans. “The 90s was the best era for hip-hop,” Method Man shouted
as the entire rooftop soared with excitement and he cued the DJ to begin their
set. The energetic pair took their fans back in time as they performed classic
hits including “Errbody Scream,” “Da Rockwilder” and more. Method Man and
Redman took turns manning the mic as they hyped up their fans, sprayed the
crowd with water and kept clubgoers on their feet dancing and singing along.
Wrapping
up their performance, the duo addressed the hot spot one last time and thanked
their followers for their continued support. The rap icons spent the rest of
their evening with their guests before making their way out of the nightclub
around 2 a.m.
