War With Syria Rally - Las Vegas (Round 2)

We
must keep up the public pressure so that our representatives choose with the
majority of the American people they represent!
Bring
signs, drums, whistles/noise makers, bring friends, great energy, but most of
all bring PEACE!
INTENT:
We
are nonviolently protesting the escalation of US military involvement in Syria,
as well as the complete disregard of the will of the American people in the
decision to begin a new war. We in no way support the actions of the Assad
regime, but are concerned that US intervention will instigate more violence and
suffering. We are launching a global rally on Saturday September 7th in Las
Vegas, Nevada as well as many other cities around the country.
We
will park anywhere close to the TROPICANA AND I-15 overpass, We will be holding
a massive banner and sign protest promoting PEACE and LOVE for our fellow
humans in Syria. NO WAR ON SYRIA.
The
time to change the world and stop the war is now. Share this information with
anyone and everyone you know. Thousands, and possibly millions of innocent
lives depend on it.
REACH
OUT:
Please
invite as many people as possible, even if you can't join us on Saturday.
Email/call student organizations, activist groups, newspapers, radio stations,
university professors, politicians, and anyone else who could bring more
attention to the cause.
SOLIDARITY
IN PEACE:
Remember
to make and bring peaceful (non-hateful) signs and posters to demonstrate your
point of view. NO weapons, violence, drugs, or open containers are permitted.
This is a family friendly non-violent event so be respectful. It could get a
little hot so bring water and snacks! Bring drums, whistles, signs, and
anything you can think of!
INFORMATION
AND BACKGROUND:
Chemical
Weapons were used to Murder hundreds of Syrian People in a suburb of the Syrian
City of Damascus. Although the initial reports claimed that the Assad led
Government of Syria was responsible for the attacks, it is now believed by both
investigators and other world leaders that the United States backed Syrian National
Coalition are responsible for the attacks. It's also believed they are using
these war crimes to give an excuse for the United States Government to
intervene in the region.
This
Tactic is meant to pull Iran into war with the United States. This tactic will
ultimately cause a global conflict in which countries that do not support the
criminal actions of the United States may, in fact take the war to US soil. War
is not supported by the US majority and has only seemingly been supported by
the citizens of the United States in recent years. In this instance it is
overwhelmingly opposed by the majority of U.S. citizens, last figures showing
only a 9% approval of an armed action.
As
citizens of the world the majority of us are completely opposed to large scale
warfare and the impending war with Syria and Iran must be opposed in every
nonviolent way at our disposal. The Liberation of the Syrian People should not
be decided by the interests of other nations or even a council of other
nations. Both Syria and Iran are independent nations and should remain
independent nations.
We
have seen the reign of Tyranny in this world too many times before and the
collective voice of the people are opposed as we always will be. Please take
the time to educate yourselves as unbiased as possible and spread this
information to anyone and everyone you can. Our collective voice is and will
always be our only hope to liberate this world from the hands of Tyranny.
