It
was a family affair for the Jonas
Brothers as they headed to Las Vegas to celebrate the youngest sibling, Nick’s
21st birthday. The group checked into Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday for a weekend
excursion.
The
adventure began at the Wynn Theater when they visited the cast of Le Reve—The
Dream on Saturday evening. The performers showered Nick with early birthday
wishes before his brothers, Kevin and Joe, joined him to pose for shots with
the cast and the beautiful ballroom dancers.

The
rocker trio were joined by their significant others for an intimate dinner at
Andrea’s. Nick and girlfriend, Olivia Culpo, the former Miss USA and Miss
Universe, were very playful and cuddly throughout the meal while Kevin was
doting on his expecting wife Danielle the entire time. The restaurant provided
signature chopsticks with their names engraved on them at the table. The group
loved them and immediately posed for photos. They shared several sushi rolls
including crispy tuna, special cucumber roll, spicy tuna shrimp tempura,
lettuce cups, New York Strip steak, black cod, Jidori chicken and the
restaurant's signature smoked salmon.
On
Sunday, the group took it easy in order to “prepare for battle” as Nick told
press on the red carpet for the main event as he counted down his last minutes
as a 20 year old. The brothers played golf and watched football before getting
dressed to impress at the big night out.
A
group of 25 of Nick’s closest friends and family gathered at Botero, the
steakhouse at Encore around 10:30 p.m. last night for dinner. The entourage was
seated on the patio to enjoy the beautiful Las Vegas evening, indulging in the
restaurant's celebrated steaks. They split several sides including truffle
macaroni & cheese, ricotta gnocchi, wild mushrooms, and more.
At
exactly midnight, Nick was watching his iPhone's date change over to officially
ring in his birthday. The group erupted in applause, while a four-tier cake was
presented by the staff. The brothers showed off their skills singing, “Happy
Birthday” while girlfriend Olivia snapped pictures on her phone for social
media. The couple cozied up while Cheers-ing with a celebratory glass of
champagne followed by a sweet kiss. A family tradition took over as Nick made
the first cut of the cake and then handed the knife over to Danielle, Kevin’s
wife, who has the next upcoming birthday to make the final cut before it was
served to the group. Kevin was overheard explaining the tradition to their
friends at the table.
Fifteen
minutes after turning 21, Nick led the group to the red carpet at XS nightclub,
where the brothers all snuggled up to their significant others; Nick and
Olivia, Kevin and Danielle, and Joe with model girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler.
Nick shared that he is most looking forward to some music and acting projects
in the year ahead, but also being able to finally kick back at the end of the
day with a beer. He shared that Olivia gave Him a necklace for his birthday,
while Joe had one of the most unique gifts in purchasing a pair of Frank
Sinatra’s tap shoes for his younger brother. Kevin went big, getting a few
chips from the Wynn casino to test his luck on the table games after the party.
While Nick was very much looking for the night ahead, it had some tough
competition as he shared his favorite birthday to date, a surprise wiffle ball
tournament his family planned when he turned 13.
Fresh
off of New York Fashion Week, Joe shared that his style changes a bit when
heading to Sin City. He said the guys dressed to the nines for the evening's
festivities. He claimed his own 21st birthday is a challenge to remember, but
brother Kevin chimed in to remind him they had the college experience for Joe’s
birthday, heading to State College for a Penn State football weekend. For his
own big 2-1, Kevin shared the family traveled to Cabo, always making a fun trip
out of the event. With a baby on board, he joked that he’ll let his brothers
plan his children's 21st birthday parties as they will no doubt be seen as the
cool uncles.
The
group of 20 were escorted in style down the nightclub’s signature golden
staircase just after 1 a.m. with 30 waitresses flanking on both sides waving
light wands to direct them through the crowd. As they marched through the
venue, fans tried to grab pictures of the group before they arrived on stage.
Seated next to headlining DJ, Avicii even grabbed a photo with the famous
family before starting his set. A second birthday cake was brought out by the
XS model waitresses, themed in true Vegas style with seven tiers of poker chips,
card suits, and black and red colors throughout. The group partied into the
early hours of the morning in honor of the monumental celebration.
Additional
celebrity sightings in separate groups last night at XS also included Liam
Hemsworth, Enrique Iglesias, and Lil Jon.
