Thursday,
Aug. 8, Texas guitarist Gary Clark, Jr. brought his powerful mix of blues roots
with contemporary soul and hip-hop to the Set Your Life to Music series at the
Boulevard Pool. The crowd was blown
away by Clark, Jr., an inspired performer who has been compared to guitar icons
like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Known for hits such as “Bright Lights,” “Ain’t Messin ‘Round” and
“Numb,” the artist delivered a passionate and soulful performance that delighted
fans and wowed the crowd.
As the
sun sets over The Strip each Thursday night, the Boulevard Pool deck comes to
life with the energy of Las Vegas during the Set Your Life to Music series.
From the aroma of the outdoor grills to the sounds of hand-crafted cocktails
being stirred, guests can revel in the spirit of music at the intimate outdoor
venue. Doors open at 7 p.m. with celebrated DJ Mike Attack spinning before
headliners take the stage at 9 p.m.
The
Set Your Life to Music series features: GoldBoot, The McManus Project and The
Dirty Hooks (Aug. 15); Rebelution and Matisyahu (Aug. 22); Wavves (Aug. 29);
