Building
on the resounding success of its first Las Vegas-area restaurant at The
District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que
will open a second restaurant in the city of Las Vegas at Red Rock Resort on
August 19. This location brings the number of Lucille’s’ restaurants to 18
throughout California, Arizona and Nevada.
Lucille’s
serves award-winning, savory, Southern-style food and is known for its
signature slow-smoked barbeque, flavorful appetizers, soups, salads, burgers,
sides, and desserts, served with a large helping of down-home, friendly
service, plus entertaining Live Blues in its Flying Pig lounges. The restaurant will be located within Red
Rock Resort off restaurant row facing Charleston Boulevard. Hours of operation
are 11am to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 11am to 1am on Friday
and Saturday.
“We so
appreciate the warm welcome we’ve received at our Henderson Lucille’s and look
forward to bringing our authentic Southern food and hospitality to Red Rock
Resort,” said Craig Hofman, president, Hofman Hospitality Group. “While Las
Vegas offers a tremendous amount of dining options, we believe that we’ll find
even more fans in the area, who love our low and slow cooking approach centered
around our genuine Southern Pride smoker, plus our wide variety of regional
Southern menu items.”
Lucille’s
founder, Craig Hofman, opened the first restaurant in Long Beach, Calif., in
1999 but not before a two-year journey through the South to find the best BBQ.
At the center of all of his restaurants is a Southern Pride smoker where Grade
A prime rib brisket, ribs and more are smoked low and slow to perfection with a
variety of authentic sauces from different regions around the South.
Driven
by the philosophy of “Serving the best Bar-B-Que with the finest Southern
hospitality,” Lucille’s has won many awards and honors, including dozens of
local “Best of” awards in each of its markets.
“We are
thrilled to welcome Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que to our dining line-up,” said
Mark Tricano, vice president and general manager, Red Rock Resort. “We are big
fans of Lucille’s menu and since we announced joining forces, our guests have
been eagerly awaiting its arrival.”
