On
Sunday, August 11, Vintage Trouble vocalist Ty Taylor attended Rock of Ages at
The Venetian. Following the performance, Taylor expressed his enjoyment for the
performance while he met with the cast backstage. Blending Rhythm & Blues
and Rock ‘n’ Roll, the Los Angeles based band gained international acclaim
following the release of their album The Bomb Shelter Sessions in 2011. The
group has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno, received praise by Rolling Stone and Billboard, and has opened for
Rock ‘n’ Roll legends such as The Who and the Rolling Stones.
Claire
Sinclair, star of “Pin Up” at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, also
attended Rock of Ages yesterday evening, August 13, and met with the cast
backstage for a photo following the show.
About
ROCK OF AGES
Set
in L.A.’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, ROCK OF AGES tells the story of Drew,
a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase
their dreams of making it big and falling in love. ROCK OF AGES takes you back
to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting
even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great
rock songs of the ‘80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose
Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again,"
"Don't Stop Believin’" and more.
