Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and The Salvation Army
will partner together to provide local students with much needed school
supplies during their 2013 “Stuff the Bus” campaign from Tuesday, Aug. 6, until
Monday, Sept. 9.
The
campaign will serve community families in need by helping kids across the
country prepare for a successful academic year with donations of items such as
notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, scissors and crayons. Doughnut lovers and
supporters alike will receive a complimentary Original Glazed doughnut by donating
a single school supply item. Each donation of a backpack containing school
supplies will provide the supporter with a complimentary dozen Original Glazed
doughnuts.
“We
want to thank Krispy Kreme for once again helping us provide children with the
essential supplies needed for success in the classroom,” said Major Ron Busroe,
national community relations and development secretary for The Salvation Army.
“We hope our supporters will assist their neighbors in need by donating and
enjoying a free donut from our friends at Krispy Kreme.”
The
new school supplies will be given to The Salvation Army and distributed to
youth through their national social service programs.

DOES WHAT A MAN THINKS AFFECT HIS SALVATION?
ReplyDeleteDoes what a man thinks alter the fact of a man's salvation?
Can a man say that he believes that Jesus is the Son God and then say, however, I do not think that it is essential for my salvation? Can that kind of thinking save anyone? (John 8:24'Therefore I say to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.")
Is it possible for someone to assert they they were baptized in water and say, however, I do not think it was not essential for me to be saved? Can that kind of thinking save anyone? (Mark 16:16 He who has believed and been baptized shall be saved...)
Is is plausible that a person can profess that they believe the God raised Jesus from the grave and then say, however, I do not thinkit is essential to believe that, in order to be saved? Can that kind of thinking save you? (Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.)
