La Comida, Downtown Las Vegas’ vibrant new Mexican eatery, has added a dash of
spice to the daily routine with the introduction of happy hour specials,
available from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
La
Comida’s dynamic bar, dining room and patio provide a fun setting for guests to
enjoy fresh fruit margaritas and beers, each available for just $5. Margarita
selections include the passion fruit margarita, prickly pear margarita, guava
margarita, pomegranate margarita and tamarind margarita; all made with freshly
made fruit purée, tequila reposado, sour mix, and garnished with a salted rim
and lime wheel. La Comida’s bottled beer assortment includes a variety of
Mexican, import and domestic favorites such as Bohemia, Negra Modelo, Dos Equis
Amber, Stella, Amstel Light and Coors Light.

Comida is a stylish addition to the burgeoning Downtown Las Vegas dining scene,
featuring a menu inspired by the cosmopolitan fare of Mexico City. The latest
creation by the Morton Group, led by restaurateurs Jenna and Michael Morton, La
Comida blends authenticity and tradition with a delightfully funky vibe. The
facade of the restaurant faces Sixth Street with an old-school overhanging 'La
Comida' sign stretching across the sidewalk beneath a 7-foot sculptured metal
monkey clinging to the rooftop corner, whose bones flash in pink neon. The main
room is accented with wood floors, reclaimed tiles from Mexico, authentic
church pews and stained glass from old church windows.

Comida is located at 100 Sixth St. and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30
a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday from 5 p.m. to
