The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomed legendary alternative rock band Weezer to
the stage at the Boulevard Pool last night (Saturday, July 27). Selling more
than 10 million albums and playing countless live shows, Weezer has been around
since 1992, and in its present form since 2001. As expected, Weezer delivered a
high-energy performance that kept the crowd rocking all night to hit songs and
fan favorites such as "We Are All On Drugs," "El Scorcho"
and "Hash Pipe."
The
Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring
world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled
with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. The excitement of
live-music and sports action spills onto the casino floor from Book &
Stage, an upscale sports and entertainment lounge, while live DJs fill the
rhythmic and vibrant hot-spot BOND with the best in house-music. Finally, The
Chandelier, a dramatic inhabitable three-story architectural wonder, created by
2 million luminous crystals, houses three unique bar experiences: high-energy
hot spot, sophisticated cocktail retreat and inviting lounge. Perched high
above the Las Vegas Strip, the Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience
by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of
both the stage and The Strip by night.
