The
cast and crew of Jersey Boys Las Vegas took part in Carmine’s "Friends and
Family" meals over the weekend before the famed New York family style
eatery opens Tuesday inside The Forum Shops at Caesars. Carmine's Times Square
is a longtime favorite with the New York theater crowd, so the actors were
feeling right at home.
Among
those spotted at the 750- seat, two-level restaurant were cast members who
brought spouses, in-laws and children including Jeff Leibow (who portrays Nick
Massi); Joe Barbara (Gyp DeCarlo); Aaron DeJesus (Joe Pesci); Jason Martinez (Norm Waxman); Buck Hujabre
(Hank Majewski) and Mike Erickson (Billy Dixon).
Hujabe,
Leibow and DeJesus snapped a photo while sending a message to their friend
Joseph Leo Bwarie who opened the Jersey Boys Las Vegas show in 2007 and will
soon be portraying the lead role of Frankie Valli on Broadway, while Barbara
enlisted his three hungry sons to help finish off the Titanic ice cream
dessert.
Carmine's
has a history with Jersey Boys having hosted opening night parties for the
show's touring company at its Washington DC location as well as several cast
events at the Times Square restaurant.
