Vdara
Hotel & Spa, the luxurious all-suite hotel, recently launched V-Dog, a
canine-friendly program that not only welcomes, but caters to, man’s best
friend.
For an
additional $50 per night, guests may bring up to two furry friends with a
combined weight of less than 70 pounds, or one pooch at the same weight, to
stay in the sleek boutique hotel. Select Deluxe Suites have been appointed for
those with canine companions ensuring that other guests at the hotel are not
affected.
As
guests arrive at Vdara, they will be pleased to find that Fido won’t have to
walk through a noisy casino and instead will prance through a tranquil lobby.
Upon check-in, all doggies will receive a welcome amenity including an
all-natural, freshly baked dog treat from a local bakery, eco-friendly waste
bags, information about Vdara’s 24-hour dog park and an in-suite doggie dining
menu.
When
it’s time to play, owners can enjoy the perennial Las Vegas sunshine or
pleasant evenings by taking their pooch outdoors to the dog park located just
steps from Vdara’s main entrance. This green space is available 24 hours also
includes a walking path.
After
man’s best friend works up an appetite, a distinctive in-suite dining menu,
created with health-conscious pets in mind, offers a wide variety of dishes.
Specially designed by Vdara, options include the Fetch of the Day, a sumptuous
seared fillet with sweet potatoes, green beans and yellow squash or the Chicken
a la Coop, delectable hormone-free baked chicken with whole grain brown rice.
Vdara
also provides crates upon request for pet owners who choose to let their pup
have some alone time. Pooches who would rather have company will appreciate
pet-sitting services that can be arranged through Vdara’s concierge for an
additional fee. All pet sitters are meticulously screened and are experienced
animal lovers who are available 24 hours a day.
