Is It Time For Lunch? Check Out Ferraro's Italian Restaurant!

The powerhouse lunch hotspot, Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar, is serving a new afternoon line-up. The centrally-located, off-Strip restaurant is known to both local and out-of-town visitors alike as the place to dine for authentic Italian fare, where everything is made fresh. The lunch menu features an assortment of antipastini, insalate grandi, pizzettes, paninis and pasta, as well as fish and meat.

“Love Your Lunch” specials are priced at $9.95 per dish. Chef Mimmo Ferraro’s current creations include Penne Parma (penne with cream pancetta, green peas and parmigiano); Salmone Pesto (salmon with light basil pesto and cherry tomatoes) and Chicken Marinara (chicken breast in a stewed tomato sauce). All “Love Your Lunch” entrees include a choice of a house salad or soup of the day. New selections are changed seasonally.

Highlights of the remaining portions of the lunch menu include the antipasti collection, which range from the classic Calamari Fritti to Carpaccio di Tonno (thinly sliced herb encrusted Ahi tuna topped with diced tomatoes, olives, capers, red onions and fennel). For salads, Ferraro’s signature refreshing Insalata Mimmo (heirloom tomatoes, avocado, red onions, fresh mozzarella with drizzled balsamic vinegar) remains a perennial favorite. Ferraro’s showcases fresh, homemade pastas that include Penne Pomodoro; Spaghetti Vongole e Pomodorini (homemade spaghetti with clams, olive oil, garlic and cherry tomatoes) and Farro Verdure Stufate e Fagioli (farro grain, white cannellini beans with sautéed greens). Of course, the classic Osso Buco (veal shank braised served with farro) is available and remains a popular item either for lunch or dinner.

“Ferraro’s is a popular spot for lunch because we’re close to the Strip as well as all three convention centers, which makes it an easy find for out-of-town guests and locals like,” says Chef Mimmo Ferraro. “Our lunch specials, coupled with the additional lunch dishes and even our 12,000-bottle wine cellar make Ferraro’s irresistible for the lunch crowds.”
