Grammy
award-winning rock band YES performed at The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort.
The Triple-Header Concert Tour featured the iconic band performing three of
their classic albums in their entirety, all in one concert: 1971’s The Yes
Album, 1972’s Close to the Edge and 1977’s Going for the One. This tour marks
the first time since 1973 that Yes bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe,
drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes and singer Jon Davison have
performed an album onstage in its entirety.
The
first leg of the tour launched March 1, 2013 and music audiences are relishing
the experience of the three albums performed from beginning to end – each
representing an important milestone in Yes’ career which encompasses sales of
close to 50 million albums worldwide.
Founded
in 1968 by Jon Anderson and Chris Squire, Grammy-award winning recording
artists Yes have created some of the most important and influential music in
rock history, such as iconic pieces “Roundabout,” “Close to the Edge,” “I’ve
Seen All Good People,” “Owner of a Lonely Heart” and countless others. Having
sold tens of millions of records over its four-decade career, Yes continues
creating masterful music that inspires fans and musicians from around the
world.
