Las
Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) will reopen for summer recreation
following a suspension of activities due to the Carpenter One fire. Chairlift
rides, disc golf and hiking will be offered and The Bighorn Grill and
Bristlecone Bar will serve food and beverages.
On
Sunday, Bazooka Zac will perform on the patio from 2 to 5 p.m. The event is
part of LVSSR’s Songs of Summer series that showcases the talent of local
singers and songwriters.

public will have access to Trout, Kyle and Lee canyons sometime Friday, July
19. The specific time has not been announced. Currently, only residents are
permitted to access the canyons. Companies and agencies needing to conduct
business in the canyons should contact Las Vegas Metro Police to gain access
and secure a pass.
