Las
Vegas is the epitome of re-invention. Here if you do not change your image in
this town or revamp you run the risk of becoming passé or heavens old! Yesterday Silver Sevens Casino & Hotel unveiled their new sign. After
Affinity Gaming purchased local favorite Terrible’s casino a full scale
renovation began. The hotel has 327 rooms with a full casino and pool area and
a workout room. A shuttle also runs between McCarran airport and the Las Vegas
Strip. All of the rooms are renovated with
new carpeting and a hip new look. Welcoming cool colors such as sky blue plays
a part in the color scheme. Another
interesting innovation is that when you check-in you can sign up for your player’s
card at the same desk! This saves time and guests do not have to go to
different desks. Also if you happen to misplace your players card they have a nifty machine that all you do is slide your driver’s
license in and voila a new card.
Also
added a new William Hill-operated race and sports book which offers plenty of
great viewing for any type of sport you like. As for dining options your luck
looks really good here! The remodeled
buffet has breakfast from 7 am – 10 am for $3.99, lunch is 11 am – 3 pm and is
$6.99 and dinner Mon.-Sat. 4 pm – 9 pm is $8.99 and the Champagne Brunch on
Sunday 7 am – 3 pm will set you back a mere $9.99. A real return to Las Vegas values
when your dollar went far.
The Sterling
Spoon Café also gives you a great value for your dollar. What about steak and
lobster for $7.77 and of course “Endless Pasta Sundays” all you can eat spaghetti
with garlic bread for $5.99.
When you
become an A Club member play on Fridays, it is 10 x points! What can you earn by joining; exclusive room
discounts, comps and cash back for slots, tables and Bingo, comps for your
play, for every 2000 points you earn $5 in cash back or you can convert your
points to free play if you are on a hot streak!
General
Manager David Nolan oversaw the renovations and is very genial and takes pride
in the Silver Seven Casino. Affinity Gaming has indeed brought back the wonder
years of yesterday Vegas. Great staff, great prices and not so large that you
will get lost going from your room to the pool! Check it out.
