On July
11, surfer-turned-guitarist, Makua Rothman, jammed out to island melodies during
Boulevard Pool’s Set Your Life to Music series at The Cosmopolitan of Las
Vegas. He transported the captivated audience to his native Hawaii, playing
tunes like “Girl Like You,” “Too Long” and “Sweet Sunshine.” With an
ever-growing fan base, Rothman will undoubtedly continue to make waves on the
mainland’s music scene.
As
the sun sets over The Strip each Thursday night, the Boulevard Pool deck comes
to life with the energy of Las Vegas during the Set Your Life to Music series.
From the aroma of the outdoor grills to the sounds of hand-crafted cocktails
being stirred, guests can revel in the spirit of music at the intimate outdoor
venue. Doors open at 7 p.m. with celebrated DJ Mike Attack spinning before
headliners take the stage at 9 p.m.
The
Set Your Life to Music series features: Elan Atias (July 18); Theophilus London
(July 25); Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (August 1); Gary Clark, Jr.
