Carmine's Family Restaurant Comes To Las Vegas!!

Eggplant
With so many dining options available today in Las Vegas it really is the finer points and service that can make or break a restaurant.  Carmine’s recently celebrated their Grand Opening in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

What is the concept behind Carmine’s? It is based upon family style dining; a relaxed dinner sitting around the table with good friends and loved ones. The dishes are of Southern Italian cuisines origins and are family “wow” styled portions!  Begin your dinner with a huge mountain of fried zucchini, not thick but thin and delicately fried in olive oil, the antipasto plate is huge and filled with delicacies intended to satisfy the pickiest palate, Italian olives, prosciutto ham and much more. On to the main courses. Platter of spaghetti with huge homemade meatballs that are perfect, not to seasoned and not mushy, just divine. The eggplant parmigiana was a marvel at first it looked like lasagna but instead was thinly sliced eggplant covered in cheese with marinara sauce. A big hit at our table!

Salad
We also had the pleasure of indulging in the salmon. Which was a velvety smooth salmon covered in a light sauce with breaded mussels. Took this home and put in on a salad the next day..divine. Also served was the porterhouse with onions and pepper and Italian sausage. Tender and bursting with flavor another huge hit. After tasting several different courses it becomes evident that every dish is cooked to perfection and as a matter of fact Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Bank proudly stated that you could visit any of the six locations and every dish tastes exactly the same. Consistently and quality have played a large part in the success that Carmine’s has enjoyed since opening the first restaurant in 1990 at 2450 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  As a matter of fact he once took a non-believer on 3 trips to 3 different Carmine’s and they ordered the same dishes at each location and they were all exactly the same. That is what I am looking for when I want to enjoy a night out is the fact that my money will buy me a dinner that is going to be enjoyable and delicious.
Titanic
Deserts and Cocktails! Very important elements of any dinner, at least in my book!  I always like to try a Manhattan because not only do I enjoy the drink but it establishes the caliber of the restaurant, do they use the right cherries, does the drink taste like a true Manhattan or a sweet strong mixture of alcohol? Well I can vouch for Carmine’s Manhattan, PERFECT!  An extensive cocktail menu and wine list is available. Bring on Desert! Tiramisu that is light and delicately flavored what just what the end of this fabulous dinner deserved and please try Carmine’s. I have had Tiramisu that was thick and spongy and tasted of alcohol, not this one. Brace yourself and your dining companions for the Titanic! A mountain of decadent chocolate cake, ice cream, whipped crème and FABULOUS!

As for the small details, at the bar are individual charging stations so you can keep in touch with the outside world if your phone is running out of juice. Forgot your charger at home? No problem Carmine’s has one for your phone, IPAD! Purse hooks are available at the bar for the ladies. Private rooms for private celebrations are available and a full catering menu is available. The décor is old style Italian with beautiful sparkling chandeliers and other quirky light features.  Pictures of Italian ancestors adorn the walls and Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin croon in the background.  The service is friendly and professional; all of the staff is fully trained and could easily transition between all six locations.
