Friday
July 26, Floyd Mayweather, boxing's reigning pound for pound king, celebrated
his friend's birthday dining at Hakkasan Las Vegas inside MGM Grand Hotel &
Casino. Mayweather arrived to the restaurant with a group of 40 friends just
after 9 p.m. and dined on Hakkasan signature items such as the Stir-fry black
pepper beef ribeye with merlot, Mongolian style beef tenderloin, Hakka steamed
dim sum platter and more. Leaving his tough exterior in the ring, Mayweather
was instead seen in high spirits, laughing and talking with the group, while
toasting to the birthday with glasses of champagne.
Also
spotted at Hakkasan Nightclub last night were actors and comedians Damon and
Marlon Wayans, who were celebrating Marlon's birthday with a group of five
friends in the Ling Ling Club. Arriving around 12:30 a.m., the group was seen
taking shots, dancing to the music and inviting a few lucky ladies to join them
at their table. Clearly in a very celebratory mood, Marlon hopped on the mic
and announced his birthday, as well as his stand-up performance the following
night. Towards the end of the evening, clubgoers cheered as a cake was brought
out to Marlon's table, complete with confetti and Hakkasan light batons. Damon,
Marlon and friends continued to sip cocktails throughout the night before
making their way out of the nightlife mecca around 2:30 a.m.

Meanwhile,
upstairs in Hakkasan's main room, clubgoers danced late into the night to the
hits of resident DJ deadmau5 and his two new signature mau5bots.
