The
Las Vegas Strip will get a whole lot sweeter when Hershey's Chocolate World
retail experience opens at New York-New York Hotel & Casino this winter.
The
flagship store will occupy two floors, boast an eye-catching 70-foot façade and
provide guests with an experiential concept that will immerse them in the candy
brands they love: Hershey’s, Hershey’s® Kisses®, Reese’s®, Ice Breakers®, Jolly
Ranchers®, Twizzlers® and more.
“Everything
is bigger and brighter on The Las Vegas Strip and we are thrilled to be taking
the Hershey's Chocolate World experience to the next level at New York-New
York,” said Amy Hahn, Vice President and General Manager, The Hershey
Experience®. “Our guests will enter an engaging and interactive space where
they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and create keepsake
photos. These experiences are sure to
draw candy lovers from what is arguably the most exciting street in the world
and inspire some Hershey's happiness.”
According
to Dino DiCienzo, President of Chocolate Experiences Inc. who has partnered
with The Hershey Company to expand Hershey's Chocolate World retail experiences
in the U.S., the choice of this location to create the newly imagined concept
is not an accident.
This
sweet spot will be located between the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge
and feature a towering Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bar, an 18-foot Reese’s Peanut
Butter Cup and dazzling entrances in the shape of Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates.
Once inside, Hershey's Chocolate World retail experience offers guests a chance
to create their own Hershey’s happiness through a variety of interactive
experiences such as customizing candy wrappers and personalizing Hershey’s
Kisses plumes.
New
York-New York announced in April plans to modify its skyline and Brooklyn
Bridge, creating a dynamic environment brought to life through a vibrant patio
culture and retailers that are new to the market. The Hershey's Chocolate World
retail experience, with its incredible array of famous Hershey's-branded
products, will anchor the new array of shops and dining experiences.
Hershey’s
Chocolate World retail experience will also offer a variety of opportunities
for guests to share their experience with friends and family via social media
tools, just part of the immersive technology that will make the new store a
must see interactive chocolate experience.
