"The
First Couple of American Idol" celebrated their joint
bachelor/bachelorette parties at the luxurious Vegas hotspot alongside 30 of
their closest friends and family including many of the cast of The Venetian’s
hit musical, “Rock of Ages”
The
party munched on Wolfgang Puck’s Solaro cuisine enjoying favorites such as the
salt and pepper calamari and portabella mushroom pizza while sipping on signature
Azure cocktails as Ace proclaimed, “We’re here to party!”
The
lovebirds explained how happy they were to be celebrating at The Palazzo
because, “everything here is under one roof!”
Joined
by DJ Ravi, DeGarmo and Young jumped on stage and performed crowd favorites to
adoring fans, showing off their signature vocal skills.
The
two are still loyal to their American Idol roots and will be present at the
season finale. Young proclaimed, “It is a family reunion for us and the Idol
finale is like the Superbowl Halftime Show on steroids. It always blows me
away”. As for rumors that Jennifer Lopez will be performing, DeGarmo says, “I
think it would be exciting! I was sad to see her go, but they’re always keeping
us on our toes as viewers!”
However,
the couple may have one disagreement. Ace joked, “I wish Simon would come back.
American Idol wants you! We need you! I miss getting put down Simon!”, to which
Diana joked: “I don’t!”
But
Young only had the most loving things to say about his future bride to be,
saying, “She makes me a better person”
The
two plan on getting wed with 300 of their closest friends and family members in
Los Angeles in June 2013. However, this weekend was meant for them to relax and
let loose. Young joked about his bachelor night, “Many, many private things
happened last night. I’m still sore from getting whipped by many things!”
