Renown
stand-up comedian and actor, Kevin Hart, alongside Draya from the hit VH1 TV
series “Basketball Wives L.A.,” will host Bagatelle Beach’s Memorial Day beach
bash on Sunday, May 26th. The holiday weekend festivities will initiate with
the premier of Dive-IN Movie Nights on Thursday, May 24th where a poolside
screening of The Goonies will be shown above Bagatelle Beach’s glistening pool
and under the stars.
Best
known for his hilarious stand-up comedy acts and countless roles in films
including Scary Movie and 40 Year Old Virgin, Kevin Hart, 2012’s MTV Movie
Awards host and funnyman, will keep the crowd entertained on Memorial Day
Sunday in between live DJ sets from Las Vegas resident DJ Roger Gangi. Cover
model and VH1 “Basketball Wives” star Draya Michele, will also be in attendance
to add to the celebrity-clad beach party.
In
addition to the Memorial Day bash, Bagatelle Beach will launch its first in a
series of Dive-IN Movie Nights this Thursday, May 23rd, where guests are
invited to watch the cult classic film The Goonies poolside. The 1980’s film
favorite will be shown on Bagatelle Beach’s 25’ x 9’ LED screen, allowing
partygoers the opportunity to watch the movie from either the beach club’s two
pools, or atop the luxurious daybeds with toes in the sand. The locals-friendly
movie night will feature a string of Las Vegas’ most popular food trucks
including Melteez, Dragon Grille, Flying Monkey, Sin City Wings and OSO ONO
Shaved Ice to offer mouth-watering selections to accompany the classic movie.
The night kicks off at 7 p.m. just in time for sunset, where guests, with a
perfectly melted grilled cheese in one hand, and a carefully crafted cocktail in
the other, are invited to lounge in a comfy daybed while the movie plays under
the stars. Themed outfits pertaining to the Dive-IN Movie Night featured film
are highly encouraged; locals get in free for the event.
Guests
can experience the beach bash hosted by Kevin Hart and Draya amongst live DJ
sets over brunch atop the mezzanine, in one of Bagatelle Beach’s 18 cabanas, or
during a game of beach volleyball on one of Bagatelle Beach’s two regulation
size sand volleyball courts.
