On Sunday,
April 7, Angel Management Group's WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand was the place to be
as the Las Vegas pool party destination was packed to capacity throughout the
whole day as fans awaited GRAMMY Award-winning Calvin Harris to kick off his
exclusive daytime residency.
The
Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter and record producer stole the show as he
stepped foot in the DJ booth just before 3 p.m. and spun his worldwide hits
including "Bounce," "Feel So Close,” “Sweet Nothing, “We Found
Love," and many more to thousands of bikini-clad partygoers. Matching the
explosive energy from the dance floor, Harris kept the pool packed and pumping
all afternoon. But the party didn't stop there as GRAMMY Award-winning R&B
recording artist Ne-Yo made a cameo appearance at the Vegas hot spot. Standing
side-by-side and center stage, the superstars took the party to the next level
as Ne-Yo got on the mic and gave a surprise performance as he sang the vocals
to their chart-topping collaboration “Lets Go.” The crowd erupted as the pair
performed together. Harris closed his show after 6 p.m. leaving guests wanting
more as they chanted “Calvin, Calvin, Calvin!”
