Now expanded to feature four world-class tasting events, the 39th annual UNLVino’s theme is “Fall in Love Again,” a concept inspired by artist Romero Britto’s painting created for the event. Since its inception, UNLVino has raised millions of dollars for the scholarship program, which has aided UNLV students who have pursued careers in the hospitality industry around the world. Bubble-Licious      
Guests to Bubble-Licious will enjoy an evening of exquisite champagnes, sparkling wines and exotic champagne cocktails accompanied by delectable cuisine from B&B Ristorante, Bouchon, Delmonico, Lagasse’s Stadium, Postrio Bar and Grill, Sushi Samba, Table 10, and Zine Noodles Dim Sum. Chef Thomas Keller will be honored at Bubble-Licious for establishing a collection of restaurants that set a new paradigm within the hospitality industry.

 Sake Fever
Sake Fever, UNLVino’s popular celebration of the most authentic and precisely crafted Asian beverages and cuisine, will feature an extensive selection of imported and domestically brewed sakes and beers. Guests can also enjoy fresh fare crafted by sushi masters and selections from Aburiya Raku, Fin, Island Sushi Hawaiian Grill, Japonais Restaurant and Lounge, Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, Monta Ramen, Naked Fish, Social House, Sushi Samba, and Zenshin. Honoree Chef Masaharu Morimoto will be recognized for his recent Culinary Hall of Fame induction, his collection of renowned restaurants, and unrivaled win-loss record on Iron Chef.

The Grand Tasting
The main event and a Las Vegas tradition, UNLVino’s Grand Tasting will transform Paris’ Champagne Ballroom into an epicurean paradise, featuring an incredible array of international wines, beers and cocktails complemented with cuisine prepared by UNLV’s talented culinary students. Restaurateur Elizabeth Blau will be honored at the Grand Tasting for her integral role in Las Vegas’ transformation to the world-class culinary destination it is today. Live entertainment will be provided by Blu 7.

BAR-b-q:
UNLVino debuts a mixology-focused BAR-b-q, rounding out an impressive four days of beverage events benefitting UNLV’s Hotel College. Featuring cuisine from renowned celebrity chefs Scott Conant, Angelo Sosa and Gustav Mauler, the luxurious tasting event will be elevated with craft-cocktail creations by Master Mixologist Francesco Lafranconi set amongst the awe-inspiring architecture of Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Guests will indulge in dishes from Charlie Palmer Steak, Commonwealth, D.O.C.G, Diego, Fiamma Trattoria & Bar, Mundo, Poppy Den, Red Velvet CafĂ©, Scarpetta, Shibuya, Spiedini, and Todd English P.U.B. Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada has enlisted local farmers to provide the freshest spring produce for this high-end epicurean affair honoring MGM Grand President and COO Scott Sibella. Live entertainment will be provided by the Richard Femenella & the Chris Hermes Band.

Advance tickets are available at UNLVTickets.com via 877.413.VINO. Admission to Sake Fever and BAR-b-q each cost $100 in advance; $125 at the door. Tickets for Bubble-Licious and The Grand Tasting are $125 in advance; $150 at the door. UNLVino’s special $350 Wine Lover’s Passport Package includes admission to all four tastings, a savings of more than $100.
