Two
of professional football's most legendary duo were spotted at N9NE Steakhouse
on Friday evening. Retired Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and retired
two-time Superbowl champ and wide receiver Dwight Clark stopped in the Palms'
popular steakhouse to catch up with friend Chef Barry Dakake. While catching up
over desserts and drinks in the busy lounge, fans and onlookers took note of
the famous football pair so much so that their tab was picked up by an
anonymous fan in the room.
Montana
and Clark are often cited as pulling off one of the most historic plays in NFL
history referred to as "The Catch" in which Howard scored the winning
touchdown off a pass by Montana in the January 10, 1982 NFC Championship Game
between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers.
