Last night, Sin City was transformed when the
highly anticipated Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand opened its doors to
thousands of clubgoers to experience the nightlife mecca for the first time.
The all-encompassing destination kicked off its preview weekend as
GRAMMY-nominated dance music phenomenon, deadmau5took over the elaborate DJ
booth and spun his infectious music to the masses.
As
opening night began, renowned Fergie (DJ) hit the main stage and immediately
had the festivities in full-effect. Stunning atmosphere models were scattered
throughout the venue as the exquisite dancers donning intricate, eye-catching
costumes took their place on the platform situated above the main DJ booth and
performed their show-stopping choreographed routines all throughout the night.

Arriving
to Vegas’ newest nightclub around 1 a.m. deadmau5 christened the brand new
sophisticated DJ booth as he took over the decks with his hard-hitting beats.
Kicking off the night, the talented artist was presented with a
commemorative-framed gold disc by CEO of Angel Management Group Neil Moffitt to
celebrate the first-ever performance of his exclusive event series at Hakkasan
Las Vegas. The mau5head donning sensation took his place in the DJ booth as he
was welcomed to his new home by thousands of his shouting fans just after 1:30
a.m. Girlfriend and famed tattoo artist Kat Von D was also present and seen
hanging out in the VIP table directly behind the DJ booth as her beau spun his
award-winning tracks.
Meanwhile
in Hakkasan Las Vegas’ 10,000-square-foot Ling Ling Club, celebrated DJ Vice
was found behind the turntables spinning for a packed room as choreographed
atmosphere dancers dressed in stunning Samurai-inspired outfits enhanced the
mood providing guests with non-stop entertainment.
Also
spotted attending the opening was actor Colin Farrell as he sipped cocktails
and mingled with the crowd and gorgeous Hakkasan staff.
Earlier
in the day, Hakkasan Las Vegas welcomed CEO of Angel Management Group Neil
Moffitt along with Scott Sibella, president and COO of MGM Grand as they officially
commenced the awaited opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Joined by dozens
of beautiful, Hakkasan Nightclub model cocktail servers, the two executives
greeted media, staff and patrons as they expressed their gratitude and
excitement of this new venture.
“We
have partnered with a great company in Hakkasan and a great corporation in MGM
Grand, so I think it is a perfect storm to create probably one of the best
grand openings in Las Vegas for a nightclub,” Moffitt said.
Touching
on details of the venue, premier entertainment and more Sibella added, “Now we
have a nightclub like no other nightclub that will definitely put us on the
map.”
