On Saturday, March 30, WET REPUBLIC at MGM
Grand kicked off the 2013 pool season with world-renowned DJ Tommy Trash. The
GRAMMY Award-nominated Australian DJ and Producer hit the newly remodeled Vegas
hot spot in full force as he made his daylife debut. The electro-house star
took over the decks and spun his highly celebrated anthems to thousands of sun
kissed poolgoers into the late hours of the afternoon.
Thomas
Olsen, better known as Tommy Trash, has been rocking the charts and dance
floors since he made his debut on the music scene in 2006. Nominated for a 2013
GRAMMY Award, the Australian-born DJ has created high-profile remixes for
heavy-hitters including Swedish House Mafia, deadmau5 Kaskade and many more.
WET
REPUBLIC is an alluring 53,000-square-foot venue comprised of large saltwater
pools, intimate dipping pools, daybeds, banquets, tricked-out Bungalows and
Party Cabanas. The adult pool destination features an open-air covered lounge
serving as a place to mix, mingle, dance and dine. Unique culinary offerings, signature
cocktails, premium bottle and pitcher service can be enjoyed in the lounge or
ordered poolside. The venuealso offers a dedicated valet for guests.
