Aliante
Casino + Hotel launches their Jazz Under the Stars summer concert series with
the smooth sounds of guitarist Nils Thursday, May 30.
Nils’s
first single “Jump Start” topped the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts and “What the
Funk?” spent eight weeks at number one. His second album, “City Groove,” also
produced hits with “Let’s Bounce,” which reached number two on the charts. The
German born musician has worked with legends like George Clinton and George
Benson and has reached platinum record success with his contributions to The
Temptations’ 1998 album, “Phoenix Rising.”
Patrons
can enjoy the cool sounds of today’s most talented jazz musicians every last
Thursday of the month from May to August, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. The summer
festivities take place at the property’s resort style pool, under the twinkling
lights.
The
expansive deck lined with giant palm trees and shady umbrellas make it an oasis
nestled in the desert, perfect for an outdoor concert experience. Bebop into
the warm weather with Jazz under the Stars – tickets are $15. For day bed and
cabana reservations, visit www.aliantegaming.com or call 702.692.7777.
