House of Blues Las Vegas, located inside Mandalay Bay
Resort, is creating an indoor beer garden at its Crossroads at House of Blues
Restaurant for St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
On Saturday, March 16, it’s an “Ain’t Patrick’s Day”
celebration, with Pete Contino’s zydeco band, CONTINO, performing in the
restaurant from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.
CONTINO, which features performers on accordion, bass, harmonica, keys
and vocals, has recently secured a regular spot on the House of Blues nightly
live music line-up in the restaurant, performing each week on Thursday and
Saturday nights.
On St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17, the Celtic
music begins at noon and continues until 10 p.m., featuring:
12 noon – 1:30 p.m. – The Chancey Brothers
2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Celtic Connections
4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe
Tones
6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. – Emish
8:15 p.m.– 10 p.m. - Searson
The restaurant will be offering Irish food specials
including Corned Beef and Cabbage and Shepherd’s Pie all weekend, in addition
to the regular menu. There is no cover
charge for the live music.
For $45 plus
gratuity, patrons 21 and over may purchase an All-You-Drink Beer Pass for the
Beer Garden that will be located on deck inside the restaurant. The Beer Garden
features 20 different beers, including Murphy’s Irish Stout and Strongbow,
among others. No St. Patrick’s Day weekend is complete without Jameson Irish
Whiskey which will also be available for purchase. All-You-Can-Drink Beer tickets may be
purchased at the House of Blues Box Office or at Ticketmaster.com in advance or
at the door..
