New
York-New York Hotel & Casino is painting the town green for St. Patrick’s
Day, beginning with Lady Liberty. Every night March 11 – 18, New York-New York
will illuminate the Statue of Liberty in a vibrant hue of green to commemorate
Celtic Feis, the annual three-day Irish festival over St. Patrick’s Day weekend
at Nine Fine Irishmen and the Brooklyn Bridge. The biggest celebration of Irish
culture on the Las Vegas Strip, Celtic Feis festivities include live
entertainment, specialty cocktails and Irish authentic cuisine.
The
event kicks off on Friday, March 15, at 7 p.m. with a parade for all ages
through New York-New York led by Desert Skye Pipe Band. Entry on Friday and
Saturday is free, and admission on Sunday is $25 including a pint of Guinness
or a Jameson shot. The event is open to guests ages 21 and up. For more
information about Celtic Feis, visit nyny.lv/CFTW2013.
