Two
of boxing’s most famous personalities dined separately at Palms Casino Resort
on Sunday evening.
At
N9NE Steakhouse, 25 close friends including boxers Sugar Shay Smith, Badou Jack
“The Ripper” and Adrian Broner surprised Floyd Mayweather in celebration of his
36th birthday. The boxing champ and birthday boy enjoyed crab legs, mushrooms,
lobster mashed potatoes and steak prepared by Chef Barry Dakake. Earlier in the evening, Mayweather tweeted a
photo of a cake made to resemble a $1,000 bill with a photo of him in center
that he received from his friends at Showtime. (twitter.com/FloydMayweather/status/305538032923209728).
Next
door, boxing legend Mike Tyson enjoyed dinner and the Oscars at HERAEA, the all
new American restaurant and female friendly sports lounge at Palms Casino
Resort. Tyson, joined by friends, enjoyed water and vegan rice along with a
prime view of the awards show from the restaurant’s oversized LED TV screens.
Tyson is on a break from his wildly successful “Undisputed Truth” tour.
