Celebrating its public grand opening today, SCORE!, the first multi-sport interactive exhibit and sports fantasy experience of its kind, opens its doors to sports fans from around the globe. Located inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino on the iconic Las Vegas Strip, SCORE! is the ultimate sports fan attraction featuring historically significant memorabilia from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame®, Pro Football Hall of Fame®, Hockey Hall of Fame, Boxing Hall of Fame, U.S. Soccer Federation and more, along with cutting-edge interactive sports experiences that make SCORE! much more than an ordinary exhibit.

SCORE!, a 10,000 square-foot interactive exhibit, contains more than 300 prized pieces housed in eight galleries and valued in the millions of dollars. The permanent exhibits feature items dating to the early 20th century and include such notable hardware as the 1999 Women’s World Cup trophy, the 1981 Heisman Trophy awarded to legendary USC tailback Marcus Allen, championship rings, World Series trophies, Jim Brown’s 1957 MVP trophy and the largest and most diverse collection of game-worn jerseys anywhere in the world. The unparalleled collection comes from various professional sports’ Halls of Fame and private collectors, including the late attorney Jock Smith.

At SCORE!, casual sports fans and diehards alike get a chance to “Be the Legend” by participating in challenges such as an NHL-themed stick-handling drill, college combine tests, baseball speed pitch, peripheral vision test, NASCAR-themed pit-stop challenge and vertical leap test all designed to see how sports fans compare to the pros.

SCORE!’s unique interactive platform was produced by Sports Emmy winner John Brenkus, author of the “Perfection Point” and host of television’s popular Sports Science.

SCORE! offers a first-of-its-kind fantasy sports experience with the introduction of custom technology that includes an interactive app and a slew of  Apple iPads enabling fans to sign with a virtual sports agent and later become a professional athlete with their favorite team or sport.

At the end of the tour, fans can see for themselves through a “virtual locker” a synopsis of their career featuring their team uniform, press release, signing bonus and a personalized magazine cover highlighting their induction to their favorite hall of fame.

SCORE! provides fans a choice to buy the image or promote their experience on the spot via social media.

This viral nature of fans sharing their SCORE! experiences via social media can help SCORE! and its sponsors reach tens of millions of like-minded avid fans, resulting in a revolutionary model for leveraging entertainment experiences into marketing and promotional opportunities.

“The stadium-style environment is high energy, highly interactive and gives fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see many of the great sports’ Halls of Fame and their heroes all in one place,” said James Beckmann, CEO of SCORE!. “The added plus is the interactive and sports fantasy nature of the attraction that gives fans and their families many reasons to come back again and again knowing that each time they visit, their experience can be uniquely fresh and different.”

In addition to the interactive exhibit, SCORE! features a Fan Shop and a broadcast studio, and provides a great location to host private events and corporate outings.

"SCORE! is a dream come true. My dad, attorney Jock M. Smith, who passed away earlier this year, was the ultimate sports fan, and he amassed the nation's largest private collection of game-worn uniforms across all major sports,” said Janay Smith, President of SCORE! Las Vegas. “As the first African-American owners of a business on the Las Vegas Strip, my family is ecstatic to finally share with the public more than 200 stellar pieces that took more than 25 years to collect.”

“One of the missions for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and its member Hall of Famers is to reach out nationally with exhibits and player appearances. SCORE! offers us and our fans in Las Vegas this opportunity during the celebration of our 50 years, and we are happy to be part of this unique concept that fans will enjoy attending,” said George Veras, President and CEO of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprise.

“With sport being such a big part of our culture, the Hockey Hall of Fame thought SCORE! would be the perfect place to showcase some of hockey’s greats, which is creating a terrific atmosphere in such a unique location. A must for the visitor experience!” said Philip Pritchard, Vice President and curator of the Hockey Hall of Fame.

“We are excited to share some of our most significant and important archives from the past 100 years of U.S. Soccer’s history. The SCORE! exhibit will provide an opportunity for people to learn more about the history of soccer in this country in a dynamic way,” said Neil Buethe, Senior Manager of Communications for the U.S. Soccer Federation.

“SCORE! has provided the Boxing Hall of Fame with a stage and spotlight that will place the legends of the ring alongside the superstars of other sports,” said Steve Lott, President of the Boxing Hall of Fame. “The $100 million ESPN/Classic Sports fight film library will enable the Boxing Hall of Fame to properly present these ‘Kings of the Ring’ to the millions who visit this city yearly. SCORE! has scored a knockout!”

“Las Vegas Motor Speedway is proud to be a part of SCORE! Las Vegas,” said LVMS President Chris Powell. “This hall of fame highlights the best in sports and our local community. The speedway’s NASCAR event is the largest single-day sporting event in Nevada, and we're appreciative that Jim Beckmann and everyone associated with this effort have chosen to make Las Vegas Motor Speedway and NASCAR a key part of their display.”

“The Basketball Hall of Fame is honored to be included as one of the outstanding sports organizations that will be encountered at SCORE!,” said John Doleva, President and CEO, Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “The work that Jim Beckmann and his team have done to create high level and entertaining experiences while paying tribute to the history of sport is remarkable.”

SCORE! is located inside Luxor and is open daily at 10 a.m. with the last admission at 9 p.m. Tickets are $28 per person, $20 for Nevada residents and $15 for children under 12.
