Hook Jaw
Net Radio’s Robert Blasi and Christina “CC” Christensen need your help this
holiday season! Since 2008 Hook Jaw Net
Radio has done a toy drive under the alias “Paco Claus”. The goal the past 4 years has been to give
back to Southern Nevada’s youth who maybe missing out on toys because of the
tough economic climate. This year the
goals remain the same but the non profit organization has changed it’s name
permanently to honor our #1 listener, friend, and mentor, Scott Missner, who
died suddenly this summer.
Robert
Blasi in his own words:
“This
toy drive is really dear to my heart. In
the past we never created press releases or advertised what we did to
anyone. We reached out to our past
guests for donations and achieved our
goals every year. This year will be
different because the media will know what we are doing for 2 simple reasons;
it’s important that our community never forgets Scott and secondly the media
will help us get more donations. Every
December we will give back to the community that he loved so much, he would
have loved this, I know he’s proud, and he’s still our #1 fan. Please donate today and help us reach our
goal of getting 500 kids, 500 toys”.
The
community is invited to donate new/unwrapped toys to ‘The Scott Missner Toy
Project on Friday’s at PBR RockBar during ‘On Air with Robert & CC’. If you can not attend a live show you still
have other options. You can call
702-539-2600 to arrange a local pickup and if you’re not in the Las Vegas area
you can order a toy online and have it shipped to Vegas! Contact Emi Sakevich at
Emi@hookjawnetradio.com for an address and don’t forget that your gift is tax
deducible. Please talk to your friends,
family, and coworkers about donating today!
The last day to donate is Friday, December 21st. On December 22nd Robert will play the role of
Santa alongside CC ‘The Elf’ and together they will pass out gifts to the
children along with an instant photograph that is sure to last a lifetime. Together we can help Southern Nevada’s
Children.
