The
Las Vegas Strip is filled with luxurious nightlife destinations offering the
highest level of VIP service for the most discerning clientele. Rockhouse is
not one of those destinations.
Sin City’s iconic party bar is
set to open at its new 9,000-square-foot location in The Grand Canal Shoppes at
The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in late January, bringing back the same
let-loose attitude that made the original one of the most popular party spots
on the Las Vegas Strip. With direct access from Las Vegas Boulevard, Rockhouse
offers convenience for guests staying at nearby hotels as well as for those
passing by.
“There isn’t anything like
Rockhouse in Las Vegas,” says Jonathan Fine, owner of Fine Entertainment, which
owns and operates Rockhouse. “You can walk in wearing anything from flip-flops
to a tuxedo, day or night, and have the time of your life. Not having Rockhouse
for the past several months has left a void in Vegas nightlife, and we look
forward to bringing it back with a bigger, better location.”
Like the original, Rockhouse will
offer drinking games in the daytime and DJs at night, with a sexy bar staff
that keeps the party going all the time. Plus, with 83 flat-panel televisions
lining every wall of the interior, there is not a bad view in the house to
watch sporting events. The two-room venue will feature three bars, cocktail and
high-top tables, and plenty of room for dancing. The new Rockhouse will also
have something the original did not: a full menu of bar food.
The interior of Rockhouse is set
up like an adult playroom, with tire swings for the bartenders and birdcages
for dancing, as well as pool tables, beer pong tables and a mechanical bull.
Fine Entertainment closed the
original location across from The Mirage in early May after six successful
years in business to make way for The LINQ. In March 2012, the Strip-side bar
and nightclub set its own one month record with more than $1 million in sales.
The new Rockhouse will be open daily from 11 a.m. on
weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends, closing late into the night. For more
