To
celebrate the spooky holiday, Chef Saul Ortiz has added new sinister Halloween
goodies to the menu available exclusively from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4 at Tacos &
Tequila (T&T) inside Luxor Hotel and Casino.
T&T
will unveil its newest cocktail, Devil’s Kiss Martini, available exclusively
during the month of October to honor All Hallow’s Eve. Priced at $12, the
wickedly delicious concoction is rimmed with chocolate and mixed with Patron
XO, Stoli vanilla vodka, amaretto and cream.
Haunting
new appetizers are guaranteed to spice things up including their all-new ghost
pepper salsa made with ghost peppers, roasted tomatoes, peeled tomatillos and
garlic served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips, priced at $3. The
restaurant will also offer ghost wings made with crispy breaded chicken wings
tossed in T&T’s original ghost pepper sauce, priced at $10.
On
Oct. 26 and 27, the restaurant will have a DJ from 8 –11 p.m. and offer $5 Dos
Equis.
Named
one of the best tequila bars of 2011 in America by USA Today, Tacos &
Tequila embodies the cool modernism of Mexico City while incorporating
traditional elements of Mexican style and Las Vegas flair. The color mixture of
old and new creates a vivid picture of brushed aluminum, dark wood, leather,
bright fabrics and colored glass. The focal point of T&T’s design is its
abstract sombrero composed of 20 brushed-aluminum panels featuring thousands of
laser-cut images, including two 30-foot dancing, tequila-drinking skeletons.
Lit from within, the breathtaking panels stretch across the entire length of
the restaurant floor and across the common area, connecting the T&T retail
store and walk-up daiquiri bar.
