Holiday Pies Cooking Class - Wednesday, November 7 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm
Just
in time for the holiday season, Chef Megan Romano will share her personal
recipe and demonstrate tips and tricks on how to bake the perfect holiday pie
during her Seasonal Holiday Pies Cooking Class at Chocolate & Spice. A
signature item on the bakery’s menu, Megan will advise participants on best
baking techniques for pie dough, various pie finishes, specifically lattice
crust, full crust and toasted meringue and assorted fillings including apple,
pecan, pumpkin and blueberry.
Samplings
of each of the tasty items as well as small bites, refreshments and a gift bag
are included in the $65 per person package. Attendees will be encouraged to
participate in the class as Megan will be taking a hands-on approach for each
and every step.
