Having traveled to many spas around the world and a confessed ex spa junkie, I created Beauty Kitchen for two reasons. To save money and to save time! With the hustle and bustle of everyone’s careers these days and chasing the clock wouldn’t it be nice to come home relax and get the spa treatments you want in the privacy of your own home? Keep reading and find out exactly how. This article is all about Seaweed!

There are so many reasons people eat Seaweed, but have you ever thought about using it in your Beauty Kitchen? Seaweed is rich in ocean minerals whereas most of the food grown on land lacks optimal minerals because of aggressive farming techniques. If you’re concerned about oceanic pollution, don’t be! Seaweed is very low on the oceanic food chain and is rarely touched by toxins in the ocean!

Seaweed masks are very popular at spas all over the world and Seaweed is used at some of the fanciest hair salons in Europe. I am going to show you in the article 3 ways to incorporate Seaweed into your Beauty Kitchen. So Skip the fancy spa high priced Seaweed hair care products, print this out, and head over to your local grocery and Beauty Kitchen yourself up!

Irish moss is used all over European spas and is a great natural hair conditioner. Here are some of the advantages of using Irish Moss on your hair, it prevents hair loss, improves hairs natural shine and gloss, penetrates hair strands’ to deliver amino acids which helps your hair from the inside out, it also thickens the hair follicles.

Who would have thought a little moss from the sea can do all that for your hair!

Here are three ways to add Irish moss into your hair care routine.

1.  Add Irish moss into your normal shampoo with a ½ ½ mixture of the moss and the shampoo, wash your hair normally and condition daily.
2.  For a hair mask for dull hair here is something I did that I absolutely loved. Use 1/2 Avocado, 1/2 cup of iris moss, ¼ cup of mayonnaise (regular mayo!) and ¼ cup of your favorite conditioner, leave sit for 30 minutes under a shower cap. The treatments works even better if you can sit outside and get some heat under the shower cap.
3.  Create an Irish Moss Spritz for beach days and pool days to protect your hair. ½ cup aloe Vera gel, 1 cup water, ¼ cup Irish moss and spritz on your hair throughout the day!
