On Thursday,
October 11, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled a wax figure of pop superstar
Madonna.
The
figure arrives just in time for fans to strike a pose with it before her
sold-out Las Vegas shows on Oct. 13 and 14. Flanked by Roman gladiators, the
figure was inspired by Madonna’s 2012 Super Bowl performance. Famous London
designer Philip Treacy, whose work has been worn in Sex and the City, Harry
Potter and at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, created
the headdress.
Fans
attending Madonna’s Las Vegas performances are encouraged to present their
concert ticket at the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas box office now through Monday,
Oct. 15 to receive $10 off an adult general admission ticket.
