TENDER
Steak & Seafood at Luxor Hotel and Casino will celebrate National Seafood
Month with a special prix-fixe tasting menu prepared by Executive Chef K.C.
Fazel Monday, Oct. 8 through Sunday, Oct. 14.
Seafood
aficionados will enjoy a four-course tasting menu featuring sustainable
wild-caught and farmed seafood, priced at $65 per person. Wine enthusiasts may
add a wine pairing to each course for an additional $35 per person.
The
menu will begin with a Chilled Bigeye Tuna and Skuna Bay Salmon appetizer. It
is made with seared sushi-grade tuna and house applewood smoked salmon served
in a truffle vinaigrette with wasabi peas on top of an heirloom fingerling
potato, sea bean and roasted artichoke salad. The second course will be a
Mediterranean Seafood Cioppino made with seared Barramundi sea bass, rock
shrimp, clams and mussels prepared in a fennel tomato stew.
The
entrée will feature two seafood varieties: a Grilled Swordfish Steak served on
a bed of baby bok choy, leeks and peppers tossed in a miso red wine fish fumet
with ginger and lemon grass and Braised Seafood Pot Roast, served with roasted
lobster mushrooms, cipolline onions and gnocchi in a lobster newburg sauce.
The
meal will culminate with the TENDER Dessert Tasting Trio, a sampling of three
freshly prepared fruit desserts including, Roasted Apple Crème Brûlée, Mixed
Farmer’s Market Fruit Shortcake and Mango Sorbet.
The
elegant 12,000-square-foot restaurant features warm cherry wood walls and soft
mood lighting for an upscale dining experience. Highlighted by leather seating
and antler-crusted chandeliers, the interior offers guests a luxurious ambiance
combined with a classic and intimate feel. TENDER has a relaxing main dining
room, bar and lounge and two smaller private dining rooms for meetings and
small parties accommodating 15 to 30 guests, respectively.
