Earlier
on Thursday, August 23, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas welcomed a wax figure of
comedian George Lopez to the attraction in celebration of National Hispanic
Heritage Month. The figure will be on
display at Madame Tussauds for a limited time, now through Oct. 14. Lopez is
one of the biggest names in comedy, has starred in numerous television and film
roles, and is a regular headliner in Aces of Comedy at The Mirage Hotel &
Casino.
Lasting
from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, National Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the
contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the country and celebrates
their heritage and culture.
