About
Law Enforcement Torch Run Nevada
The
Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is the single largest year-round fund-raising
vehicle benefiting Special Olympics Nevada. The annual intrastate relay and its
various fundraising projects have two goals: to raise funds and to gain
awareness for the athletes who participate in Special Olympics Nevada. Approximately
300 officers carry the Flame of Hope, running through all three regions of
Nevada in May, to its final destination – the Opening Ceremonies of the Special
Olympics Summer Games in Reno, NV.
