Hussong’s
Cantina & Taqueria offered guests the first taste of Victoria Beer on the
Las Vegas Strip Thursday, June 28 with a ceremonial tapping. As the first Strip
location to have Victoria on draft, the restaurant was presented with the keg
handle and a plaque to commemorate the occasion. A fitting match, Victoria is
said to be one of Mexico’s finest beers and best-kept secrets, until now.
Victoria
is a Vienna-style lager beer showcasing a bright copper color, balanced taste
and crisp finish. Produced in 1865, Victoria is Mexico’s oldest and most
traditional beer brands. Victoria translates to “victory” in English and has
made its debut at Hussong’s for $6 a pint and $22 a pitcher.
Perfect
for pairing, Guests can couple a foamy pint with the eatery’s Mexican-American
dishes and Baja street fare including the Plazero Grilled Corn sprinkled with
cotija cheese and chili flakes, Ceviche Baja Style or the Guacamole
Mango/Habanero with a side of chips.
